Version 1.0
Effective date: 17 August 2026
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Effectuatem collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information when a user accesses the Effectuatem Android application or the official Effectuatem website. It describes the current Version 1.0 service and should be read together with the Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to the Effectuatem Android application and the official Effectuatem website used to provide product information, legal documents, support, and account-deletion access.
It does not automatically apply to future Effectuatem applications, an iOS version, or materially different services unless those services expressly refer to this Policy.
Effectuatem is currently intended for users aged 18 years or older.
2. Account Creation and Google Sign-In
Effectuatem uses Google Sign-In as its account authentication method.
When a user chooses to sign in with Google, Google authenticates the account and makes basic account information available to Effectuatem. This may include the user’s email address, account identifier, and other basic profile information made available through the Google account.
Effectuatem does not receive the user’s Google password.
An internal user identifier is used to connect the correct Effectuatem account with onboarding responses, tasks, workspace information, feedback, support activity, and subscription entitlement.
3. Information Effectuatem Collects
Account and authentication information: Email address, basic Google profile information made available during sign-in, Google account/provider identifier, internal user identifier, account-creation information, and records showing which version of the Terms and Privacy Policy applied when the user continued.
Onboarding information: Required responses such as how the user heard about Effectuatem, what affects momentum, what would help most, the type of day the user is having, and the types of tasks the user handles most.
Task and workspace information: Task titles, descriptions, status or state, creation and update times, ownership identifiers, active status, and related workspace preferences created while using the service.
Feedback and feature requests: Information voluntarily submitted through feedback or feature-request forms, including title, description, experience text, type, status, creation time, and an account identifier used to associate the submission with the correct account.
App usage information: Information about how the App is used, such as screen views, onboarding completion, paywall interactions, feature events, sessions, and general usage patterns.
App and device diagnostics: Technical information needed to operate and improve reliability, such as app version, device model, operating-system information, installation identifiers, crash reports, stack traces, performance metrics, network information, and approximate region that may be inferred from network data.
Subscription and purchase information: Plan or product identifier, entitlement status, free-trial status, purchase and renewal dates, expiry or cancellation status, and store transaction or purchase references. Complete card, bank, UPI, or other payment credentials are not provided to Effectuatem.
Support and privacy communications: Email address and the contents of messages, requests, screenshots, or other information a user chooses to provide when contacting support, requesting deletion, asking a privacy question, or raising a billing issue.
4. Information Effectuatem Does Not Intentionally Request
Version 1.0 is not intended to request precise location, contacts, calendar information, photos, videos, audio recordings, microphone access, camera access, health or fitness information, financial-account credentials, browsing history, installed-app inventory, or AI prompts.
Users should not place passwords, payment credentials, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive secrets inside task descriptions, feedback, or support messages.
5. How Information Is Used
Effectuatem uses information to:
- Create, authenticate, and maintain the user’s Effectuatem account.
- Complete onboarding and configure the user’s initial workspace and experience.
- Store, display, synchronise, update, complete, cancel, and delete tasks and workspace information.
- Verify subscriptions, trials, purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and restored purchases.
- Send essential account, subscription, security, support, or service communications where an appropriate communication channel is available.
- Respond to support, privacy, billing, deletion, feedback, and feature requests.
- Measure product usage, diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve reliability and usability.
- Protect accounts and the service, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce applicable Terms, and investigate security incidents.
- Comply with lawful obligations, valid requests, accounting requirements, and legitimate dispute or security needs.
Effectuatem does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for targeted advertising or cross-app behavioural tracking.
6. Required and Voluntary Information
A Google account is required to create and use an Effectuatem account because Google Sign-In is the authentication method used in Version 1.0.
Onboarding questions identified as required must be completed before the onboarding process can be completed. Task content, feedback, feature requests, and support messages are created or submitted only when the user chooses to use those functions.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Effectuatem is a subscription-based service. Task creation and task-management functionality require an active paid subscription or an eligible free trial where offered.
Google Play handles payment methods, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refund transactions. Effectuatem receives only the limited purchase and entitlement information needed to determine whether subscription access should be active. A subscription-management provider may process limited account identifiers and entitlement information for this purpose.
Effectuatem does not receive or store complete payment-card, bank-account, UPI, or similar payment credentials.
Deleting an Effectuatem account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Users must separately manage or cancel subscription billing through Google Play to stop future renewal.
8. Service Providers and Data Sharing
Effectuatem uses trusted service providers to perform functions necessary to operate the App and website.
These functions may include:
- Google account authentication.
- Cloud storage and database services.
- App analytics and diagnostics.
- Notification delivery.
- Google Play billing.
- Subscription-entitlement verification.
- Website hosting and operation through Hostinger and WordPress.
Service providers may receive only the categories of information reasonably needed to perform their relevant function.
Effectuatem does not sell, rent, or exchange personal data for monetary value.
Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect users or the service, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce legal rights, or complete a legitimate business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.
9. International Processing
Effectuatem is offered from India, but some service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries. As a result, account, analytics, diagnostic, subscription, support, or other service information may be processed or stored outside India where those providers operate.
Where information is processed internationally, Effectuatem relies on the safeguards, security measures, and contractual terms applicable to the relevant service provider and on applicable law.
10. Age Requirement
Effectuatem is intended only for people aged 18 years or older.
Persons under 18 must not create an account or use the service.
If Effectuatem becomes aware that an account belongs to a person under 18, access may be restricted and associated personal information may be deleted, subject to any limited retention reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
11. Data Retention
Account, Google profile, onboarding, and workspace information: Retained while the Effectuatem account remains active and as needed to provide the service, unless the user deletes the account or a longer period is required for a legitimate legal or security reason.
Tasks and task history: Retained until the user deletes the task or deletes the Effectuatem account.
Feedback and feature requests: Retained for as long as reasonably needed to review and act on the submission, ordinarily no longer than 24 months after resolution. De-identified or aggregated product insights may be retained longer.
Support and privacy communications: Ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved, unless a longer period is reasonably required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
Security, fraud, suspension, and abuse records: May be retained for up to three years, or longer while an investigation, legal claim, or regulatory obligation remains active.
Purchase and subscription records: Retained while needed to administer the subscription. Limited transaction or entitlement records may be retained for up to seven years where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, or legal compliance.
Analytics, crash, performance, and website technical information: Retained according to configured settings and the applicable provider’s retention practices. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer when it can no longer reasonably identify a user.
Effectuatem does not automatically delete an otherwise valid account solely because the user has not opened the App for 30 days.
12. Account and Data Deletion
Users can request deletion from within the App through Settings > Delete Account and through the external Account Deletion page on the Effectuatem website.
For a website deletion request, the user must provide the email address associated with the Google account used for Effectuatem and complete the verification steps presented so that the request can be matched to the correct account.
Effectuatem will never request the user’s Google password.
Account deletion is permanent.
The deletion process is intended to remove or irreversibly disassociate:
- The Effectuatem authentication account.
- Account-linked profile information.
- Onboarding responses.
- Tasks and task history.
- Workspace preferences.
- Account-linked feedback or feature requests unless legitimately retained.
- Subscription-entitlement associations under Effectuatem’s control.
- Locally stored account information under Effectuatem’s control.
Limited security logs, transaction records, provider backups, or de-identified analytics may remain for the retention periods described in this Policy where retention is reasonably necessary or required by law.
Deleting an Effectuatem account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Subscription billing must be managed separately through Google Play.
13. User Choices and Privacy Rights
Users may:
- Request a summary of personal information associated with their Effectuatem account.
- Delete individual tasks and other user-created task content through available App controls.
- Request correction of inaccurate account or onboarding information where an in-app control is not available.
- Request deletion of particular feedback, onboarding information, or other personal data where technically and legally possible without deleting the whole account.
- Withdraw consent for future processing that specifically depends on consent by contacting support or, where appropriate, deleting the account.
- Raise a privacy question or grievance through support@effectuatem.com.
Basic Google profile information, such as a Google account name or email address, may need to be corrected through the user’s Google account. Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing already completed or processing that remains necessary under applicable law. Reasonable verification may be required before personal information is disclosed, corrected, or deleted.
Effectuatem will not request passwords or complete payment credentials for this purpose.
14. Feedback and Testimonials
Request a feature and Tell us why are treated as private submissions unless the user separately agrees to public use. Effectuatem may use de-identified or aggregated feedback to understand product needs and improve the service.
A user’s name, email address, Google account identifier, or identifiable quotation will not be published as a testimonial without separate permission.
15. Security
Effectuatem uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These safeguards include encrypted network communications, access controls, authentication protections, security rules, monitoring, and restricted administrative access. No transmission, storage system, or software service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If a qualifying personal-data incident occurs, Effectuatem will investigate, contain, document, remediate, and provide notices where required by applicable law.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Policy may be updated when the App, website, data practices, service providers, legal requirements, or security measures change. The version number and last-updated date will be revised when changes are published.
Material changes will be communicated through the App, website, email where appropriate, or another suitable channel.
Previous versions may be archived for compliance and recordkeeping.
17. Contact and Privacy Requests
Privacy, support, billing, and account-deletion questions can be sent to:
Service: Effectuatem
Country: India
Users should provide enough information to identify the relevant Effectuatem account and clearly describe the request.
Do not send passwords, complete payment credentials, government identification numbers, or unnecessary identity documents.
